High Protein “Cheesecake” Cottage Cheese Ice Cream
This ice cream has plenty of protein, is sweetened with maple syrup, and has such a delicious flavor and texture. Fresh lemon zest creates a delicious cheesecake flavor that is hard to resist. The great news is that you don’t have to use too much self control with this protein treat, so go ahead and eat the entire thing!

Instructions
Combine all of the ice cream ingredients in a high-powered blender or food processor. Blend until creamy. Alternatively, you could also use an immersion blender.
Pour the ice cream mixture into your ice cream maker. Follow the machine instructions and blend until the ice cream reaches the consistency that you like. Typically this is 15-25 minutes depending on the ice cream maker.
Enjoy with your desired toppings!
Notes
If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can freeze your ice cream mixture for a couple of hours and then eat it.
