1 Ice cream machine or kitchen aid attachment
1 Blender or food processor
1 knife
1 Ice cream scoop or serving spoon
- 2 large fresh peaches washed
- 1 cup whole milk divided in half
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup real maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 high quality egg yolks organic, pasture raised
Prepare the peaches by washing them, removing the pit, and cutting them into large chunks.
Put the peaches and 1/2 cup of the milk in the blender or food processor and blend until mostly smooth. Some small chunks are ok.
To the blender add the rest of the milk, cream, maple syrup, egg yolks, and vanilla extract.
Blend the ingredients until just mixed together.
Prepare your ice cream machine according to it's instructions, and add your ice cream mixture to it.
Slow churn the ice cream until it is really thick and creamy.
Serve immediately with fresh cut peaches on top.
