Easy Chipotle Blender Salsa Recipe (Restaurant Style)

This chipotle blender salsa recipe comes together in just a few minutes and there is very minimal chopping involved. This is a restaurant-style salsa and has delicious smoky flavor, with just the right amount of spice.

Equipment

  • 1 High powered blender or food processor
  • Knife & Cutting board
  • 1 can opener

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small white onion or half of a large onion
  • 1 can fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 large handful of cilantro leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 peppers chipotle in adobo sauce depending on your desired spice
  • juice from one lime
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the salsa ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until the salsa reaches your desired consistency. Blend just a little for a chunkier salsa, or blend it until it’s really smooth. 
  • Pour into a bowl, sprinkle with more chopped cilantro if desired, and serve with your favorite tortilla chips! 

Notes

The flavor of this salsa really develops as it sits. If you can, put the salsa in the fridge for a couple of hours (or overnight!) before serving for better flavor.
