Healthier Fudgy Avocado Brownie Recipe
These fudgy avocado brownies are made with healthy fats, whole grains, and have no refined sugar. They are so delicious and gooey, the perfect healthy chocolate treat!

- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup chunky natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup real maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp unrefined salt
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips + additional for melting & drizzling
- butter or coconut oil for greasing the pan
Preheat the oven to 350
Prepare a 9x9 glass baking dish, by greasing it with butter or coconut oil, or line it with unbleached parchment paper.
Combine all brownie ingredients except for the chocolate chips in a food processor or blender. Blend until you have a smooth batter.
Use a spoon to stir in the chocolate chips.
Transfer the brownie batter into the baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Bake the brownies for 20 minutes or until they are baked through. You can test the middle with a toothpick and see if it comes out clean.
Drizzle the brownies with melted chocolate and sea salt if desired. Serve warm!
