Healthy Raw Milk Hot Chocolate

- 2 cups raw milk
- 2 scoops chocolate collagen or 20 grams of protein
- 2 heaping tbs raw cacao powder
- 1-2 tbsp raw cream or half and half
- 1 tbsp real maple syrup
- 1 pastured egg yolk optional
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine fresh raw milk, cocoa powder, and chocolate collagen powder. Whisk to combine, and stir occasionally as it heats up.
While the milk is heating, in a large mug combine egg yolk, raw cream, and maple syrup. Using a whisk or a hand frother, combine the ingredients until they are nice and creamy.
Once the hot chocolate has reached your desired temperature, pour the hot milk directly into your prepared mug.
Stir all the ingredients until everything is combined.
