Reasons To Love Cottage Cheese Bake
High protein start to the day – Each slice provides about 6–7 grams of protein — making it a filling, balanced breakfast or snack. It’s quite impossible to just have one slice too, so you can for sure hit your protein goals with this breakfast bake!Â

Perfect for meal prep – This breakfast bake can be made ahead, sliced, and stored for easy grab-and-go breakfasts, lunches, or snacks all week long.
Naturally sweetened – Made with maple syrup instead of refined sugar, it has just the right amount of sweetness without being over the top.

Ingredients in Blueberry Cottage Cheese Breakfast Bake
I promise this recipe uses only the best, simple ingredients you probably already have on hand! Making it a great last minute breakfast to throw together, that still delivers extra protein!
Cottage Cheese – the star of the show in this recipe. The cottage cheese adds so much protein, and gives the breakfast bake a nice creamy texture and flavor.Â
Eggs – Pastured eggs are my favorite to have on hand for the best for nutrition density! Did you know that high quality pastured eggs will have a deep yellow / orange yolk? That’s one way to spot quality and nutrients in the eggs you buy.Â
Real maple syrup – This breakfast bake has a light sweet flavor from real maple syrup. You can also substitute raw honey.Â
Whole Wheat Flour – Just a touch of flour helps this breakfast bake come together. I use fresh-milled soft white wheat flour when I make it, but you can use any store-bought whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour if you wish.Â
Vanilla & Cinnamon – real vanilla extract and cinnamon add depth and flavor.Â
Baking Powder
Blueberries – Fresh blueberries or frozen work great! If you are trying to avoid unwanted pesticides, buy organic when possible.Â
